"I'll start with the recording I've been most anxious to hear. [D]eb and Karl are back at the music and to celebrate their reemergence into the music scene, they've released a simply superb CD called Changeling Live in England. Some of the best work I've ever heard these two perform is on this CD, starting with a great version of The Breaking of Omagh Jail, [a]nd featuring some of the sweetest fiddle work Deb has ever done."
We will take "simply superb" as a review for our work any old day! A big thanks to the Irish American News and reviewer Jack Baker!
As some of you know, our second daughter Miss Adelia Ann Clark Colón was born on July 25, 2011. After a wonderful 6 months of getting settled in and a few gigs under our belt, we are now working our way back toward the road with the much-demanded and long-awaited live album: Changeling: Live in England. The album is now off at the mastering studio, and our plan is to have it ready some time in March. And, we seem to be booking again!

As strange as it is to say it, this version web site is now a whopping twelve years old, and www.madcelts.com is a teen-ager: 16, to be precise. We are going to take the best of the look and feel of the site and bring it up to speed for the 21st Century. We are working with the wondeful Geoff Duncan of Actual Consulting (who has done all of our web sites for all 16 years) and we think you will like the results. :-)
And, we seem to be booking again. Astonishing. We are playing four shows in March (not all of them public), a teensy bit in April, two gigs in May (including a pretty incredible one in Louisville, Ky with the Hot Point String Band), a wedding for Deborah's first fiddle student in June (Yikes!), and it looks like at least a couple of big festivals in the summer.
